Subject: Master=young male
Master was a term used for any young male person in "the good old days". All my Christmas and birthday cards were always addressed to Master Gerald........

Subject: Basic but Good
A simple story but good, I had not realised that animation on film went back that far and the quality is also good for the time.

Subject: A bit HARSH.
Felix is introduced to the general masses in this cartoon. Here, he's called "Master Tom", which is very very odd, and no explanation is around for why that name was chosen. Anyways, he's trying to woo the neighborhood cat, asking it to meet him around the ash bin and all that. Woot! He then discovers that his lady love has some secrets, a litter of kittens! He doesn't want any of that, and breaks off the relationship.

The ending is what kills me, or should I say, kills Felix. That's right, he sees a gas nozzle, puts his mouth on it, and turns it on! WOW!
